This huge monstrosity was recently BLOWN AWAY from our driveway in the wind. Yes, that's right. I said the wind blew it away. Along with our two recycle bins.
Was it a tornado? Was it a hurricane? No, I live in Reno, NV. It was just wind. Just another typical crazy windy day. Imagine the chuckle I had when I had to call waste management and say, "Um, so, I think the wind blew away our trash can. Can you send us another one?" Fully expecting her to call me on this lame excuse, she offers, "Sure, there'll be a new one on your driveway on Monday." I say, "Really? And you aren't going to charge us or anything?" "No," --- "So -- just curious, have you been receiving other calls like this -- maybe we aren't the only ones who have somehow LOST an enormous structure like a bright green, 5 ft tall trash can?" I mean, I live in a gated suburb community - it blowing down the street -- understandable. It blowing somewhere so far away that it's lost? Inconceivable! "Yes, we've gotten many calls she said. The winds this Monday were fierce."
Geez.
