Completed 33 Years - Ready for 34

Yes, I realized this year, I am getting hella old. 33? Really? How did this happen? I really don't care about getting old but it makes me think -- what major accomplishments have I really had on the world yet? I have a lot of work to do in the next 33 years I guess.

Stop the Presses: We are Having a Baby

Holy cow. It is still hard to believe its all real, but it's true! My rapidly expanding body and freakish physical changes are what remind me everyday of this reality. In fact -- I'm expanding a little more generously than I should, hehee, as the pictures below can attest. But I am feeling great so I cannot even complain! Dan and I are expecting a little Flowers baby on July 6, 2008. Only 5.5 more months to go.

We are eagerly awaiting the result of the gender ultra-sound -- trying to leverage "friends in high places" to get us this data sooner rather than later. But if that doesn't work out, we should know by 2/21/08 at our next doctor visit.

NOTE: clearly these are scary morning pictures which is probably why I thought it was a good idea to take them -- I still wasn't awake.
13 Weeks on my birthday, 12/31/07 (First week of 2nd Trimester, whohoo!)
16 Weeks, 01/20/07 (4 months) I gained 7 lbs in just over a month. YIKES. No more "eating for two!"
